Amanda Trainor

Director, Research and Evaluation

Amanda Trainor Amanda Trainor is the Director of Research and Evaluation, where she leads research and evaluation projects and supports the School on the Move Prize. She joined EdVestors in 2026. Previously, she worked at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, where she led progress monitoring site visits to schools across Massachusetts, and used data to support the agency’s understanding of its impact in supporting schools and districts. Amanda earned her B.A. in English from Northeastern University and an Ed. M. in Education Policy from Boston University.
