Marinell Rousmaniere

President & CEO

Marinell Rousmaniere is the President and CEO of EdVestors, bringing more than 25 years of experience in youth development and education to her role. Over her fifteen years with Edvestors Marinell has been a key leader in the organization, most recently serving as Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives where she oversaw BPS Arts Expansion and launched EdVestors’ newest work in career pathways. Previously, Marinell served as Executive Director of MYTOWN, a creative youth development organization connecting teens to Boston’s diverse history, worked as a senior staff member in former Mayor Menino’s mayoral initiative on out-of-school time, and started her career in Boston working at Brighton High School with the Boston Private Industry Council. A first generation college student, Marinell is a proud graduate of Connecticut College. She also holds an MBA in public and nonprofit management from Boston University. She lives in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston with her husband and two children - one graduate of and one current student in the Boston Public Schools.
