Postsecondary Pathways Policy Roundtable

The Postsecondary Pathways Policy Roundtable (3PR) brings together statewide advocacy organizations and Boston-based networks working to ensure all students have equitable opportunities to access, persist in, and complete postsecondary education and training.

Together, 3PR aims to advance policies and practices that expand postsecondary opportunity, improve student success, and address disparities in enrollment, persistence, and completion. Through collaboration and collective action, members work to strengthen the statewide conditions that shape students’ pathways and experiences.

By aligning expertise, elevating shared priorities, and advancing evidence-based solutions, 3PR works to remove barriers and champion the investments and policy changes needed to help more students achieve their educational and career goals.

Framework of Focus: The Postsecondary Pathways Policy Roundtable has adopted a four-pillar framework (adapted from Collaborative for Higher Education Access & Opportunity partners):

  • Access & Affordability: Ensuring higher education is both financially and academically attainable for all students, especially those from underserved backgrounds.
  • Completion & Student Success: Removing barriers to graduation and providing comprehensive, integrated advising and wraparound services to students, ensuring that financial aid translates into real student success.
  • Degree Value: Ensure equitable and adequate funding to strengthen institutions and expand capacity for high-value courses and degree programs that prepare students for successful careers.
  • Transparency & Accountability: Building robust systems to track and report student outcomes, enabling smarter decision-making and more effective resource allocation.
