Call for Applications - BPS Arts Expansion
A critical element of BPS Arts Expansion is the grantmaking Fund. The BPS Arts Expansion Fund is used to empower BPS schools to embrace, expand and deepen arts instruction in schools.
Applications for BPS Arts Expansion grants for the 2026-2027 school year are now open.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, February 26, 2026, 4pm.
All Boston Public Schools can apply for BPS Arts Expansion grants. Schools must have a completed 2025-26 School Arts Survey on file when submitting their application. The list of schools that have responded to the survey can be found here.
Timeline
- January 8, 2026, 3-4:30 pm: Virtual Information session
- February 26, 2026: Grant Applications due by 4:00pm
- Early June: Grant Awards Announced
- June 11, 2026, 4-5:30 pm: Virtual Grantee Orientation meeting
- September 2026-June 2027: Grant Period
Applicants can schedule a half hour meeting with Nikki Olusanya, BPS Arts Expansion Director, to discuss their proposal ideas and ask specific questions regarding their application.
